Our Policies

Please review our policies before booking your appointment. These guidelines help us provide the best experience for all our clients.

Cancellations

36 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 36 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of your appointment. For all full sets, half sets, and head spa services, a 60 hour notice is required. If you exceed 3 cancellations within these timeframes, you will be charged 100% of the service price going forward. Cancellation fees will be charged using the credit card on file. If you acquire excessive cancellations over any length of time, we reserve the right to deny you services.

If you have a membership with us, one of your monthly relash sessions may be used in lieu of the cancellation fee.

Our policies are still enforced with Covid and sickness related cancellations and no-shows.

No-Shows

No-show appointments will be charged 100% of the service cost. This amount will be charged using the credit card on file. If you acquire 3 or more no-show appointments over any length of time, we reserve the right to deny you services.

Sauna No-Shows & Cancellations

A $15 fee will be charged to the card on file for sauna session cancellations within 36 hours. 100% will be charged for no-show appointments.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours or due to the close of business. Depending upon how late you arrive, the lash artist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start the service (typically, after 15 minutes, the appointment will need to be treated as a cancellation.) Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full price of the service booked. If there is not enough time to begin the service, your appointment will be considered a "cancellation" and you will be charged 50% of the service.

Deposits

50% deposits are required for all full sets, half sets, and head spa services. Deposits are non-refundable within 60 hours of service, but may be used towards another service or rescheduled to another date up to 36 hours. If an appointment is canceled within 36 hours, the deposit is used towards our cancellation policy and will not be refunded. Deposit will be charged automatically to the card on file.

You may also be asked to provide a deposit if you book appointments on more than three days within any one month period.

Contact La Vie directly for refunds on cancellations prior to 60 hours of service. Outstanding deposits will automatically expire three months after cancellation date.

Same Day Service Change

If you choose to change your appointment within 36 hours to a service that takes less time to complete, you will still be charged for the original appointment. Example, you are booked for a two hour volume fill, but decide to opt for a removal which takes 30 minutes, you will still be charged for the volume fill.

Card on File Fee

If you wish to use the card on file to pay for appointments rather than using a physical credit card or apple pay, a 1.5% fee will be added to your total to account for the extra fees the credit card charges in this instance.

Outside Fills

We do not perform services over other establishment's work. To proceed with booking, a removal and full set are necessary.

After Care

The following lash after care guidelines must be followed:

• Daily cleaning with La Vie's recommended lash care products • No mascara or oil-based liners • Eye shadow or any other type of makeup on or around lashes, should be removed with makeup remover prior to cleaning lashes • Avoid steam and getting lashes wet for 24 hours after relash or full set • Do not pick, pull, or touch lashes unnecessarily • Retention results may not always be consistent due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to: personal lash shed cycle, humidity, products or oil that may be coating the natural lash, artist's skill level, glue compatibility

La Vie may choose to discontinue providing the lash extension service to protect your health and results as well as the integrity of the brand if lash after care guidelines are not followed.

Excessive Lash Loss

If lash loss is 50%+, an upcharge is available for extra time needed to fill lashes 100%; it is recommended you schedule this ahead of time to ensure the proper amount of time is allocated.

Retention

If you arrive to your appointment with makeup/product residue of any kind on or around your lashes, we may refuse to perform the service. Due to the loss of appointment, you will be responsible to pay a cancellation fee of 50%.

Relationship

La Vie Esthetics Bar reserves the right to terminate a client relationship and deny services for any reason including but not limited to: excessive tardiness, no-show appointments, cancellations, not following the aftercare guidelines, inability to schedule appointments in a timely manner.
